3d artist (TEXTURING) – About the job
We are looking for a talented 3D artist, experienced in designing and applying textures.
Preparing a 3D model and UV map on our side, you just stick to textures and get paid for it.

TEXTURING – CHARACTERS DESIGN
The Darksiders genesis game is our benchmark when it comes to model quality. Ours may be a bit more simplified and have a bit less detail on the texture, but we make up for it with glowing unit elements.
Some examples:
TEXTURING – ENVIRONMENT
The focus is on hand-drawn textures, near-realistic proportions and a color scheme characteristic of the chaosverse, a medival fantasy set in the cosmic colors of the beyond. The enviro colors can be a bit stronger, while we avoid fairy-tale like in Torchlight 3. If we were to define the style in 1 sentence, it would read: “A little less fairy-tale/cartoon-like than in Torchlight 2 and 3.

Task – ESTIMATIONS
In the form below, we ask you to provide an estimate of the time required to produce each of the following 3 examples of similar quality.
The estimation should take into account the appropriate export of all textures (if many are needed) to png/jpg format, so that they can be used on the game engine. The creation of the UV map is on our side.

An obelisk and a plaque. Both textures in identical colors and style, with both props glowing runes on the emission texture.
