UI – GENERAL DESIGN

As a rule, there is one window, which has 9 slices, and 3 types of buttons (Menu/acceptance windows, upgrade buttons and tab button), also with 9slice.

All windows will be customized with elements specific to the type of the window. The elements we will be operating with are chains, padlocks (elements specific to the title prison) and elements from the main graphics, namely demon faces, hero, demon and guide.

Customized elements are to be simplified (we are not copying the realism and detail of elements from the main graphics). The quest window, for example, would contain motifs with the demon’s head or its elements, since defeating the demon is our ultimate task, so its presence in this window fits nicely.

Similarly, in the window with game hints, we will have motifs with a guide, since she is responsible for providing information about the game world.

UI – DESIRED ART STYLE

Our 3D graphic style, is a mix betwee Darksiders Genesis, Hades and Torchlight.
We aim for a hand-drawn UI with fantasy characteristics, the closest to our preference is:

Hades:

Another valuable reference is Curse of the Dead Gods:

Another reference is Torchlight II UI mod:

Task – ESTIMATION

In the form below, we ask you to provide an estimate of the time required to produce each of the following 3 examples of similar quality.

The estimation should take into account the proper export of all elements to png format so that they can be reassembled on the game engine.

When estimating, note that some elements are repeated.
Give the estimates in hours – example:
Task 1 from X to Y hours.
Task 2 from X to Y hours.
Task 3 from X to Y hours.

TASK 1 – POTIONS WINDOW + ALL VISIBLE ELEMENTS

TASK 2 – A set of 5 stylized icons

TASK 3 – HUD of a combat view. Texts don’t count as they are added using the game engine
